Dr. Stephen Small
Dr. Small has a core mission of delivering exemplary holistic care in a technologically advanced practice environment where patients enjoy compassion, personalized attention, and unparalleled service. His passion for aesthetics began at an early age. When he was nine, he experienced a serious burn accident and required cosmetic surgery. He was immediately fascinated by the transformative results that were possible and by the commitment to excellence that his provider embodied. Dr. Small immediately knew he wanted to provide that same level of expertise and artistry for his own patients. Today, Dr. Small is well-known for the seamless journey and stunning results he offers to those in and beyond Toms River and Stafford Township. Dr. Small believes that every patient is unique, and he strives to accentuate and elevate their natural, timeless beauty.
Dr. Small is a board-certified plastic aesthetic artist who has dedicated his career to reconstructive, laser, and cosmetic procedures. After he received his medical degree with honors from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine (PCOM), he pursued a demanding 5-year general residency at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, Stratford. Dr. Small then continued to evolve and improve as a surgeon by undergoing an intensive one-year burn and reconstructive fellowship at New York Medical College, Valhalla. Additionally, he served as a resident and chief resident in plastic surgery for several years at Ohio University, South Pointe Hospital-Cleveland Clinic Health System.
