How Vectra XT is Changing the Face of Plastic Surgery
One of the most anxiety-inducing components to plastic surgery is the uncertainty of how your results will look after your procedure. Now, much of that anxiety can be put to rest, thanks to the addition of the Vectra XT computer imaging system. This 3-dimensional imaging of various areas where you are considering a surgical procedure can help you determine whether surgery is the right choice for you. It can also guide both you and your surgeon to ensure the outcome of your procedure is what you were expecting.
What is Vectra XT?
Vectra XT is an imaging system with advanced technology that allows you to see an 180-degree picture of what you look like now and what you will look like after your plastic surgery procedure. First, an image is taken of your current form. A computer program can then be used to manipulate the image to simulate what the results of your plastic surgery procedure might look like. The 3-D system allows you to view your image from a number of angles, so you can get a much more accurate idea of what a procedure will be able to do for you.
Vectra XT provides imaging for a number of areas where patients commonly seek plastic surgery:
Face – allows you to view “before” and “after” images of what you might expect from nose reshaping surgery or chin augmentation
Breasts – provides you with an image of what different sizes of breast implants might look like and can now visualize results of a breast lift as well
